Zoubek Has Monster Game In Win

While he's only a sophomore, one of the Northeast's best big men prospects is doing all he can to invite the Blue Devils with his performances to date. In fact, if Brian Zoubek can keep putting up numbers like these, he'll attract a ton of high major programs.

On Friday night against Collingswood High Zoubek led his Haddonfield squad to a convincing 101-60 victory in a battle for first place in the highly competitive Colonial Conference.

The 7-foot-0 sophomore, who has called Duke his ‘dream school, recorded 26 points, 20 rebounds, eight blocks, and four assists. In the paint he was virtually unstoppable, converting 11-of-16 shot attempts while altering nearly every Collingswood offensive attempt, eventually forcing his opponents to settle for mid-range or even perimeter looks.

Zoubek deflected most of the praise after the game, saying "We wanted to come out here, play the best we could, and play as a team. We definitely accomplished that. Everybody was unselfish and we were able to come out with the win."
