Ever since returning from a rough weekend in Raleigh the Sheldon High Huskies have looked and played like a completely different team. It all started with the decision to move future Blue Devil DeMarcus Nelson to the point guard slot. Now the big performances keep coming.
Sheldon continues to gain momentum after beating Florin High 88-44 last night in front of another capacity crowd. Unfortunately the prevailing sentiment surrounding the latest romp was that the Huskies played down to the level of their competition.
At times the Husky offense looked to be five individuals more than one cohesive unit, though it didn't matter against their overmatched opponents.
For his part DeMarcus Nelson led the Huskies with 41 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and five steals despite a cold night from the charity strip where he converted just seven of his 13 attempts.
