Nelson and Sheldon Cruise

While his future teammates were struggling against Wake Forest, the longest commitment from the class of 2004 had his team on cruise control. Behind another stat sheet stuffing performance from DeMarcus Nelson, the Sheldon Huskies rolled to a near 40 point win.

From the opening tip it was obvious that Sheldon was simply going to be too much for Jesuit to handle. The Huskies were at home, and the offense was clicking as their All-American shooting guard got hot early, effectively deciding the outcome of the game by halftime.

DeMarcus Nelson finished the night with 28 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists despite taking a much more passive role for Sheldon after intermission. Nelson still managed to wow the crowd on a pair of dunks, before putting things on cruise control late.

Nelson, who has been named to the McDonalds All American Game, will be featured on ESPN's Thursday night selection show. Be sure to tune in beginning at 4:30 p.m. (EST) on ESPN.

The McDonalds game will be played on Wednesday, March 31st at 9:00 PM EST at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City
