While McClure is happy with his team's performance, it's likely that the Crusader coaching staff feels the same toward their senior leader who's averaging a double-double on the season with averages of nearly 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks per contest.
With solid numbers and a top 50-70 ranking according to most recruiting experts, you'd think McClure would be a lock for several post season All-Star games. However, that won't be the case this year.
"I was scheduled to play in the Charlie Weber game, but I've got a prior engagement that weekend so that's not going to happen now. I had a few other offers, but I think I'm just going to work on my game and prepare for Duke once the season ends."
McClure will head to Durham in June for the first session of summer classes and to meet up with his future teammates. He has yet to decide which number he would like to wear as a Blue Devil.
