Paulus Keys CBA Playoff Win

Future Blue Devil Greg Paulus continues to pace the CBA Brothers towards a deep playoff run. Most recently the 6-foot-2 floor junior point guard poured in 26 points in a three point victory.

Paulus started the game hot from the field, scoring 16 first half points as CBA jumped out to a 34-20 lead before Nottingham stormed back with a 9-0 run to cut the lead to five at intermission.

The second half saw the Brothers open with a 6-0 spurt keyed by a pair of Paulus assists before Nottingham again clamped down on defense, going on an 11-0 run to tie the game at 40.

As it has in the last two meetings between the teams, the game went down to the final possession as CBA took a 59-56 lead with just over eight seconds remaining. Nottingham ran down the court and actually got off a desperation three pointer that went half way down before rimming out.

CBA (18-4) will face Ludden on Friday night in the sectional title game.
