Nelson Logs 20; Readies For MDAA

Future Blue Devil DeMarcus Nelson has a busy week ahead. On Friday night he was in Knoxville for the first annual adidas/EA Sports Superstar All Star Game. This week he'll be in Oklahoma City for the McDonalds Game.

While will have complete coverage from Oklahoma, there were TDD correspondants in the house at Thompson Boling Arena, located on the campus of the University of Tennessee for the event Friday.

In typical all-star fashion there were a lot of dunks, a lot of flash, and very little, if any, defense played as the KG Superstars rolled past the T-Mac Superstars 149-127.

Playing alongside NBA bound Dwight Howard, Nelson managed to establish himself as a fierce attacker on a number of high impact, high velocity slashes to the hoop. He also showed off his shooting touch, hitting a few long jumpers en route to a 20 point, seven rebound, four assist statline.

Howard, who suffered from indifference in his first of many All Star games last week, rebounded in fine form with a triple-double and MVP honors.

Stay tuned to TDD for updates on DeMarcus Nelson and other Blue Devil recruits.
