Press Conference: Duhon and Ewing

Chris Duhon and Daniel Ewing met the media Tuesday to discuss the Final Four and more.

Chris Duhon

"I get a little more attention. I get the lights in my face every now and then. But it's all about us. It's not about one person, and that's been out whole motto the whole year."

"It's been a great year and it feels great that we're accomplishing a lot and we still have more things that we can accomplish. And what better group to do it with than these guys?"

"(Connecticut is) definitely the best team in the country. We definitely feel that way. They can beat you in a lot of ways, from the outside or inside. They have two of the best players in the country on their team, so it's going to be a total challenge for us and we can't have any let downs or we can easily get embarrassed. We have to come out fighting from the tip and just give them everything we have."

"I think once I stopped thinking about the injury, I was able just to go out and relax and play. I'm just trying to help my team in as many ways as I can and help lead us to a victory."

"I definitely gave Jarrett (Jack) a call and congratulated him on the game. He played a tremendous game and helped lead his team to the Final Four. I wish him the best of luck when they play Oklahoma State."

"I always play defense at the same level. I always try to go out and give 100 percent on the defensive end and do my job and slow down the other team's leading scorer."

"You watch a lot of tape, just to try to get some tendencies that can give you some type of advantage out there and know what their strengths are and try to take away their strengths and make them do something that they're not as good at doing."

"(Connecticut) is a real talented team and it's going to be a war and we have to probably play the game of our lives to come out with a victory. But we're capable of doing that. We're real confident about where we are and we've just got to go out and play with a lot of confidence."

"We've always felt that we've had the best conference in the country. I think with having two ACC teams in the Final Four speaks for itself. They're a good team. They could have easily won our league and could of easily done some amazing things that they have done."

Daniel Ewing

"So much hype was on us that we were already in the Final Four. I think we were just a little too relaxed and we let up a lot in the Sweet 16. Indiana was the better team that day and they got the best of us. Obviously, if you look at it by the stats sheets, we should have easily been back to the Final Four in the position to repeat."

"We learned from it. As you see, we got over that Sweet 16 hump, we advanced through the Elite Eight, and now we're in the here in the Final Four. Now we just have to take care of business. We're going to take it one game at a time. We know it's not going to be easy especially playing against a good UConn team. We have to play our A+ game."
