Douglas-Roberts, whose been nursing a groin injury that kept him and The Family out of last month's Kingwood Classic, plans to cut down his list to 10 schools after July.
``It's going to really come down to who I get along with as a staff," he said. "Where I feel comfortable. In Detroit, I have family and am surrounded by people. I want a home wherever I go with the same kind of thing."
Douglas-Roberts admitted that it'll be difficult to turn down taking a visit to any of the Big Three – Duke, UNC and Arizona – that have recently gotten involved. Kansas was also in the mix, but with the recent commitment of Mario Chalmers, it's likely the Jayhawks won't be a major player. Other schools in the mix include Florida, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Michigan, Kentucky, UConn, Marquette, Louisville, UCLA and Illinois.
``When I first heard about Duke, North Carolina and Arizona showing interest, it was a shock," Douglas-Roberts said. "I never knew that this would happen, but it just makes me work harder on my game."
``I never thought that they would call, especially Duke," he added. "I feel now that I've arrived."
However, Douglas-Roberts also realizes that the Blue Devils already have a floor leader in his class in the fold.
``I know they have a commitment from Greg Paulus," he said. "I've seen him. I really didn't ask the staff yet, but I was wondering why they are interested in me if they already have him. That's a big thing for me. I don't really want to fight with someone in my own class for playing time, but it's still a big thing that they are interested in me and I have to consider them."
