"I don't think I have the smartest IQ out there, I just play off my instincts," Wright said. "I just try to play the game with common sense. I started off working on my passing skills on the break. Me playing point guard last year and seeing things helped me a lot. I try not to be structured; I just got out and play off instincts. Sometimes I wonder how people see certain things on the court, now I'm starting to see them."
Wright is one of those guys, who with his size, can play a number of positions. Realistically, he's a consistent jump shot away from raising his game to an even higher level. Wright knows there's work to be done on the perimeter and to his credit, he's working hard. "I've been going through some changes, not with form, but just with release. Sometimes I get anxious and I have to slow my jump shot down. I'm just trying to take my time, slow down my shot and it's been going down a lot lately."
Right now, Wright lists six schools: Shaun Livingston had never spoken to Coach K either so you know the Blue Devils have the ability to close fast.
There are a few schools on the list that should make the next round of cuts. "I would say at this time Arizona, Illinois and Kansas, those have been my three that have showed interest early. I think they'll still be on there."
