Nike MDC Rundown

Though much of the national focus was tilted toward the triangle this weekend, there was also a lot going on in New Orleans at the Nike MDC.'s Eric Bossi provided TDD with a run down of some of the top Duke targets in action.

Chris Douglas-Roberts:

CDR is a flat out stud. He's all about winning and it was very clear when he went out and stomped a 28 point mud hole in the collective arses of the club circuit's hottest team, the Georgia Stars.

At 6-foot-5, he is a complete PG who is well schooled in every aspect of the game. He drives and dishes, pulls up for effortless mid range jumpers, defends and finishes with flair on fast break opportunities. The scary thing is that he seems to get a little bit better and a little more confident each time he takes the court and he is arguably the premier PG prospect in the country.

Jon Brockman:

Once again Brockman was a man among boys on Sunday. The 6-foot-7 Snohomish (WA) High product just beats the snot out of those trying to guard him in the post. He loves to get the ball under his chin with his elbows out as he makes quick spins through the lane for explosive dunks or short jump hooks. He might be the MVP of the entire tournament at this point.

Tyrell Biggs:

Biggs played as well as I have ever seen him play. He has lost a lot of fat and is a tank in the low post. However, he might not be any bigger than 6-foot-6, and it might be generous to call him 6-foot-7.
