Boateng Not Talking For Now

Eric Boateng has heard it all before, and he's answered the same questions as many times as he can. However he's been able to deflect the advances of numerous on the scene ‘reporters', and it's likely to remain that way until the London big man is ready to move forward with his recruiting.

"I'm not ready to really discuss recruiting at this time," Eric Boateng told a throng of reporters throughout the Tournament of Champions weekend. "Right now I'm not thinking about it. I want to get better and have no weaknesses in my game."

While he routinely showed flashes of potential in the middle for the Deleware Sharpshooters, Boateng admits that he's still in need of work when it comes to moving his feet, establishing position, and shot selection.

"I'm working on everything in an effort to get better, but I am listening to my coach and believe he'll help me get better."

As far as the recruiting process goes, Boateng seemed to become a bit annoyed when continuously questions about the list of programs he's considering at this point. At last check that list included Michigan, UCLA, Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Villanova, and Wake Forest. However since that time the big man and his coach have shut down the public information, preferring to keep the recruiting process as a private matter.

"I like all those schools very much, and that's all I'll say at this point," said Boateng after fielding yet another question.

The 6-foot-10, 230 pounder's recruitment is expected to last until the early fall.
