Blue Devils Land Talented Maryland DB/RB

The Duke recruiting haul just got one passenger larger when head coach Ted Roof and staff received a call on Tuesday afternoon from one of Maryland's top defensive back prospects.

TheDevilsDen.com has learned that Archbishop Curley HS standout cornerback Glenn Williams called the coaches to inform them of his commitment on Tuesday afternoon.

The 5-foot-10, 180 pounder had been receiving regional interest from Virginia, Maryland, and others.

The Baltimore native spent much of his junior campaign on the ground as Archbishop Curley's premiere back, averaging nearly 10 yards per carry while tallying 1,304 yards on the season and 17 touchdowns thanks to 4.5 speed in the forty and a very high level of agility.

Williams is equally strong in the classroom where he's an honor roll student and junior class vice president.
