Biggs, 6-foot-7 and 250 pounds, produced 27 points in Don Bosco's 68-65 loss. Biggs' last second shot from 40 feet out along the right sideline almost spun in to tie the game.
Tyrell showed he has perhaps the best touch by a big man from the perimeter. He was unstoppable. The only problem for Don Bosco was its guards could not get him the ball enough. Too many times down the floor the Don Bosco guards rushed shots before Biggs could get his wide frame in position for an entry pass in the low post. This led Biggs to stray more on the perimeter. But the big man kept dropping the shots down.
Biggs has plenty of high major interest. Connecticut has been recruiting him very hard the past year. Duke is high on his list too and when the Blue Devils make a recruiting run, they have to be taken seriously.
Maryland, Pittsburgh, Villanova, and Virginia round out Biggs' short list. "I don't have a favorite," Biggs said. "I have to see all the schools to make a decision. And I won't be making any more visits until after July."
Tyrell has stated he plans on competing at the Reebok camp this coming July.
