Roof Lands Another

Head coach Ted Roof and staff have landed another member from the class of 2005 sources inform . This time it's a highly rated athlete from Florida who could fill any number of positions on the field.

Kris Stubbs, a 6-foot-2 205lbs athlete from Lake Wood High School has verbally committed to Duke after taking an unofficial visit earlier this month.

After receiving late interest from a number of local schools, including offers from Florida and Auburn, Stubbs chose the Blue Devils and enters the program recruited as an ‘athlete', meaning he could fill any number of positions from wide out to either free or strong safety.

Playing for a program that hasn't enjoyed much success in the last few years, winning just 3 of their previous 20 games, Stubbs quickly established himself as an offensive threat.

And while Lake Worth concentrated mainly on running the ball, Stubbs still managed to haul in 15 catches for 281 yards despite a quarterback who completed just 47 of 125 attempts.

Stubbs also returned a kick off for a score.
