Another Duke Target

When you look at Duke's roster for next year, it's pretty clear that the pressing need will be at the wing, hence the arduous pursuit of Luol Deng, who is probably the primary target. But Duke didn't become Duke by putting all their eggs in one basket, and so a number of wings are being recruited.

One name popping up as a Duke target is 6-8 or 6-9 (depending on who you ask) Ndudi Ebi, of Houston's Westbury Christian.

The word people keep applying to Ebi is skinny, as in really skinny.  His athleticism is superior but not on the level of, say, Luol Deng.  Ebi is a good shooter and a skilled player who has solid range.

Ebi, who hails from London,  has long arms and is a sneaky rebounder for a skinny guy. Hey, it's not easy when you have huge guys tossing you around!

Duke does have an early advantage because Ebi has been a camper at Duke's camp, and they know him and vice-versa.  There's no firm word on his grades yet, but we're hearing they could stand some improvement.

Ebi lists UCLA as his favorite school. He also wears #44, which is retired, but there are plenty of numbers left to choose from.  22 might not be available after this year, however.
