Oghobaase talks about Duke visit

After returning home from Duke this weekend, Vincent Oghobaase sat down with the Scout.com network to discuss his trip and his impressions on the Blue Devils.

Vince Oghobaase, DT, 6-6, 300, 5.2, ALIEF (HASTINGS HS), TEXAS:

JH: Have you taken your visit to Duke yet?

VO: "I just back from Duke and I go to Miami this weekend."

JH: What did you think about your visit to Duke?

VO: "It was a great place. They had great coaches, cool players and the campus was beautiful. It was one of the best visits that I have taken."

JH: What do you think about the Duke Football program?

VO: "Obviously, they have been down for a few years, but I believe they can turn it around with the signing of a few players. I think I can go in there and make a difference. They told me that they were leading at halftime and didn't hang on in those games because they were short a few players. They feel if they just sign a few players that they can really become a factor."

JH: You said that Duke had the best engineering program going into the visit. Did you leave Duke feeling the same way?

VO: "They have a great mechanical engineering program. I stress this and really believe this that if you get a degree from Duke you are set for life."

JH: You are visiting Miami this weekend. As you go into that visit what are your thoughts on their program?

VO: "I went down there in the summer and I know what they have to offer me both from a football and academic standpoint. When I leave there I want to see what kind of personal feeling that I have about the players. I want to see how I am going to mesh with the people, players and the community."

JH: Are you thinking about the Oklahoma visit at all, which is your last visit in a couple of weeks?

VO: "I take those visits week-by-week. That is still a week away, so I will be thinking about then. I saw Coach Shipp today and that went real well. He is coming by my house in just a few minutes and I am looking forward to talking to him."
