"I'm getting interest from schools around here like the top ACC teams," explained Adams. "Duke, [North] Carolina and [N.C.] State are recruiting me the hardest."
The earliness of the recruiting season and lack of offers has made it difficult for Adams to develop any sort of favorites list, but the 5-foot-11, 180-pounder has begun to establish a list of criteria that his future school should meet.
"I don't really have any favorites yet," stated Adams. "I'm still deciding, you know its still early. I wouldn't mind the ACC, that'd be nice and I'm not really trying to go too far."
Although early, Adams has begun the research process already with a trip to Virginia this past weekend.
"I went to Virginia to see what its like," commented Adams. "We just toured around the stadium, and it was all pretty nice. The coaches went on the tour with us."
In early March Adams figures to continue on with his unofficial visits with a trip to North Carolina. The visit won't be his first to Chapel Hill as Adams has been in attendance for games at North Carolina last season as well as N.C. State and Wake Forest.
Adams hopes to turn his college interest into offers this summer by hitting the summer camping circuit hard. North Carolina and Duke are stops already penciled into his schedule.
