Devils Offer Top Ga Receiver

Crawford Kilpatrick was one of the standouts at the Kennedy/CES Combine in January, and despite going through a coaching change over the offseason, it hasn't stopped college programs from taking a hard look. Kilpatrick has picked up two early offers, and the 6-5 and 185 pound receiver names four teams he is looking at the most early in the process.

"I like Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina and Ohio State. Duke and Maryland have offered me," Crawford Kilpatrick said.

What stands out about those 4 programs?

Georgia: "It's just the hometown school. It's local."

Auburn: "I just like Auburn. I just like the football program."

South Carolina: "Jared Cook is going there and he told me about it. It sounds really nice."

Ohio State: "I've always liked that school. Got to like those winning programs."

What is he looking for most in a school?

"I just want to see if I'm comfortable and the campus is nice. It's basically just going to be my comfort level."

Has Kilpatrick determined where he'll camp this summer?

"I'm not really sure right now."

North Gwinnett has changed coaches in the off-season. How is the transition going so far?

"It's good. I like my coach a lot. We'll be running the exact same scheme they did at Hoover (Alabama)."

What does he feel he does best and what does he need to work on?

"I want to improve my hands a lot and just become more consistent. I think the best thing I do is just being physical."
