Duke Offers Penn. Quarterback

Last week, Mechanicsburg (Pa.) quarterback Zach Frazer, 6-4 and 218 pounds, added two offers to his collection.

"I was offered by Duke and Akron," Frazer said

Frazer apparently wanted more as Zach and his father made the trek to Syracuse (N.Y.) to check out the Orange. Frazer did not leave empty handed, he received his fifth scholarship offer.

"It was nice there, it was snowing a lot," Frazer said "They have a new weight room there which is really nice. We went to coach Robinson's office before I left and he offered me a scholarship. I may try and get up there for a spring practice."

The Frazer's also made a recent trip to Purdue, which didn't quite go as planned.

"We drove the whole way out there and the QB coach wasn't even there," Frazer said. "That's kind of important for you to meet the coaches, especially your position coach."

A warmer climate trip may be next on the agenda for the Frazer's.

"We're probably going to NC State sometime soon, probably for a spring practice," Frazer said.
