Duke to Hold Open Practice Thursday

NCAA traditional open practice will kick off on Thursday.

If you were unable to secure a ticket to this weekend's NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at the Charlotte Coliseum or would like to catch some more action of your favorite team in person for FREE, then stop by the Charlotte Coliseum this Thursday, March 17, for open practice day.

Practice sessions are open to the public with admission and parking both FREE. Concession stands will be open in the Coliseum so you can buy food, drinks and commemorative souvenirs. Practice times for all eight teams are listed below. If you are planning to attend the North Carolina or Duke practice sessions, please be advised there could be afternoon rush hour traffic delays, so plan accordingly.

The NCAA Tournament first-round games will tip off in the Charlotte Coliseum on Friday, March 18, with Iowa State and Minnesota starting play in session one at 12:30 p.m. Session two will begin with Duke and Delaware State at 7:25 p.m. Will call windows will be open throughout the practice sessions on Thursday allowing fans to beat the crowds and pick up their game tickets a day early.
