Durham Holds Two Offers Early

Top Georgia receiver holds a pair of ealry scholarship offers, with more on the way

Kris Durham is a WR prospect out of Calhoun, GA. He's picked up his first two offers and is drawing interest from numerous programs throughout the south.

"I have offers from Furman and Duke right now. That's about it. I'm being recruited hard by Auburn, Maryland, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Clemson is also starting to get on me pretty hard," Kris Durham said.

Who does he favor right now?

"I like Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and pretty much the same schools as before. I don't really have a favorite yet."

What does he like about the schools he mentioned by name?

Auburn: "Their facilities are really nice. I went down there last weekend for the spring game and we got to tour the academic facilities and meet all the coaches. I got to go in Coach Tuberville's office and get some one on one time with him."

Georgia: "I haven't been down there but my dad went there and ran track so I always liked them. I like all the coaches and Coach Bobo sends me a few hand written letters here and there."

Georgia Tech: "I went down there last weekend and I got a tour of the campus from the coaches. It's very beautiful. Coach D'Allesandris took me around and he answered all my questions perfectly. My sisters boyfriend pitches for Georgia Tech so we were down there for that."

Vanderbilt: "I love the education they offer. I also like the coaches and I feel comfortable with them."

Durham will camp at a handful of schools this summer.

"I'm camping at a bunch of places like Vanderbilt, Alabama, Ole Miss, Maryland and Georgia Tech."

What is he looking for in a school?

"I'm looking at the academics first and see if they have a major I like. I'm looking at exercise science, physical therapy or some type of education. Also the coaches and the prestige of school."
