Duke Offers Penn. Quarterback

Although he is often the forgotten one in the three-headed quarterback monster that is developing in Pennsylvania with Pat Devlin, Zach Frazer, and Jeremy Ricker. Ricker's recent rash of offers suggests that you should not forget him. All three figure on being amongst the elite quarterbacks in the class of 2006.

Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt quarterback Jeremy Ricker, 6-2 and 200 pounds, now holds offers from Rutgers, Maryland, Oklahoma, Duke, Akron, and Virginia Tech.

Ricker, his father, teammate Aaron Berry, and Bishop McDevitt head coach Jeff Weachter are getting ready for a trip this week that will take them to Miami (3/23-3/24), then onto Florida for three days (3/25-3/27). Ricker is planning on an April visit to Notre Dame.

In 2004, Ricker completed 75 of 129 passes for 1,463 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. As a sophomore Ricker was named 2nd team AP Class AAAA All-State when he completed 89 of 178 passes for 1,565 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.

Ricker will attend the Nike Combine at Penn State, the Scout.com/U.S Army All-American Regional Combine at Akron, and an Elite 11 Regional camp in Las Vegas.
