Rose Opening Back Up A Bit?

Daron Rose, one of the nation's best offensive linemen, seemed to have Duke high on his list early on in his recruitment and throughout the first few waves of offers. Now, with a total of 35 scholarship offers on his desk, the Florida OL says he's opening back up just a bit to see what there is to see in the world of high major recruiting.

Daron Rose is already one of the most highly sought after prospects in the Sunshine State and the big man from Tampa just continues to pile on the offers. Who is the latest to extend a scholarship?

"I have 35 offers now. The new ones come from Minnesota, Northwestern, Virginia and Pittsburgh," Daron Rose said.

Rose had narrowed his list down to 5 the previous time we spoke but it appears things are now more wide open than ever.

"I'm kind of opening back up now. I'm liking Florida, Alabama, Duke, Iowa, Ole Miss, Oklahoma (No), USC (No), South Florida and Auburn. It's just a bunch of schools right now. The only one of those I don't have offers from are Oklahoma and USC."

When can we expect a decision from the big man?

"I may graduate early depending on how I make out my schedule right now. I definitely think that would be a plus. I'm trying to take 3 or 4 visits before I come to a decision."

Daron will be attendance at the Scout.com Combine in Tampa this Saturday.
