Florida Signal Caller Has Duke Offer

Herb Bynes is one of the top quarterback prospects in the south, and he is looking to lead a talented Boyd Anderson team this fall. He has picked up several offers, but is reluctant to name any favorites.

"I have offers from Duke, Kansas, UCF, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Florida, and Georgia Tech," said Bynes. "I get the feeling that Miami and Kansas State are close to offering too. I don't have any favorites right now. Ole Miss is recruiting me the hardest."

With no favorites, what criteria will Bynes use in helping to shear his list?

"I'll be looking for a great education, and I'll look at the offensive scheme. I'll also look at the depth charts."

Bynes will have a busy summer coming up.

"We played Delray Beach in the spring game. we lost 31-24. I was 8/12 for 194 yards and one touchdown. I also rushed for 38 yards on five attempts. We'll start 7v7's in the middle of June. We'll compete against other Dade/Broward Schools."

Bynes isn't planning on attending any college camps this summer, but will be busy working with his high school team as he tries to decide where he would like to spend his college career.
