Over 25 Total Offers For Stadler

Alex Stadler's recruitment continues to excel. In the last 2-to-3 weeks Oklahoma, Connecticut, Boston College, and Clemson have come through with a scholarship offer, and Stadler continues to make an overwhelming amount of unofficial visits.

"I'm up to – I think – 25 offers right now," said Stadler. "I'm getting ready to take a trip to the north and midwest during the later part of June to see schools such as Michigan – I'm going to camp there, Indiana, Boston College, UConn, and maybe a few others."

Stadler, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive tackle from Bealeton (Va.) Liberty, has already unofficially visited Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State, Duke, and Wake Forest.

The travels have not only built up his frequent flyer miles, but also allowed Stadler to somewhat narrow down his list of schools. However, Stadler isn't ready to reveal the members of that list just yet.

"I think me and coach narrowed it down to about 15, but I don't really feel comfortable about discussing that right now because I haven't seen every school out there," said Stadler. "I don't feel comfortable discussing those schools until I see what is all out there."

Stadler plans to announce is final ten or so schools by the end of July with a heavy influence on the overall atmosphere of each school.

"I'm just looking for an overall environment," said Stadler. "How I'm going to fit into the offense, the campus, the overall living condition – just the overall comfort level."

Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Duke, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Indiana, and Wake Forest are some of the schools that have extended Stadler an offer.
