Michael Brown Listing Duke Early

Michael Brown is in no hurry to claim a leader at this point in the recruiting year. The South Cobb Running Back will weigh all of his options before doing so. Which schools is Brown currently interested in?

"The schools I like right now are Vanderbilt, Georgia, South Carolina, Auburn, Duke, Princeton, and Louisville," said Brown. "These schools have what I'm looking for in both football and academics."

Brown has drawn attention from some top programs.

"Michigan State, South Carolina, Arkansas, Indiana, and Boston College have all sent personal letters. Kent State is my only offer at this point."

Which school is Brown in closest contact with?

"I've talked with Coach Nix from South Carolina a few times. He talked the school and what it has to offer. I'd like to major in the Medical Science field. He told me that I could find that at South Carolina."

Does Brown plan to attend anymore camps this summer?

"I'm not sure if I'll go to a team camp this summer. I have two mini camps for my own school. I'll be extremely busy this summer."

What role will academics play in Brown's decision?

"Academics will weigh a considerable amount. I want a good education but at the same time I want to play at a top program. I will weigh academics and football equally."
