Jersey Backer Hearing From Duke

West Orange (N.J.) linebacker/tight end Alex Wujciak (6-3, 228, 4.7) now claims he does not have a top five. And Boston College hasn't come through with an offer.

"I don't have a top five anymore because it just doesn't ever stay the same," said Wujciak, from Seton Hall Prep.

"I should have a solid list of five schools in the next month or month and a half. I just want to go to a school that I'll fit into, with some good academics, and basically a place that I'll feel comfortable at. Right now, location is not a factor for me.

Wujciak claims offers from Rutgers, Duke, Northwestern, Syracuse, Connecticut, Maryland and Nebraska.

"I think the schools that are recruiting me the hardest right now are both Rutgers and Maryland. The coaches from those two programs have been to my high school a bunch of times and they've gotten to know me really well. They send me text messages and handwritten letters pretty much everyday," he said.

"All of these schools are recruiting me as both a linebacker and tight end. I'll be playing both positions this season and I have no preference what position I'll play when I get to college. I want to see what other offers start coming in and then start setting up some official visits. I want to make my decision after the season."

3.0 GPA/1500 SAT--retest undecided--"I might take it again to see if I can do better. I know that I'm fully qualified so far."
