Previewing Concordia

The long awaited tip off of the 2005-2006 season is finally here as the Blue Devils take the court tonight for the first exhibition match up of the season. Standing in the way are the Concordia Stingers of Montreal, Quebec who compiled a 15-1 record a season ago. TDD previews the match up.

The Stingers got an early start on their 2005-2006 season, playing the season's first game on October 7th. Since then the Stingers have put together a 4-5 record to date. Most recently Concordia fell to Rhode Island 90-69 on Tuesday night. That doesn't bode well heading into the nation's top ranked team's house tonight.

Jamal Gallier and Dwayne Buckley were named to the All-Tournament team, averaging 17 and 14 points per game respectively.

*- Against Rhode Island Perrotte was unstoppable, scoring 25 points (8-of-13 shooting and 9-of-12 from the free throw line), in 31 minutes, but got little help from his teammates as the Rams rolled to the 21 point victory.
