Geralds, who is considered a three start prospect by Scout.com, says his top five remain Duke, Georgia Tech, Mississippi, Stanford, and Louisiana Tech. However, don't expect his decision, whenever it may come, to be rushed.
"I want to see and hear everything I can before I decide. Right now I'm still listening and learning about each program. I want to make the best decision on the first try."
That process begins with the Blue Devils this weekend.
"They [Duke coaching staff] have been great the entire time. I've really gotten comfortable with all of them, especially Coach Kelly. He's told me they really need a player and person like me to continue to turn things around there.
"Another thing they've talked about is a Duke degree for life after football. If you have a degree from there you're going to be in a good position for the rest of your life. Academics are the number one priority in my decision, and I'm excited to see if Duke is everything I've heard."
"My goal is to get a degree in medical engineering."
During his talks with the Blue Devils, Geralds says he is being recruiting as an offensive lineman, which is consistent with his other top schools.
