Four More Commits For Duke

The big recruiting weekend continues to produce commitments as the Blue Devils have earned another four pledges in the last 24 hours.

On Sunday afternoon, TDD learned that Marcus Lind, Leon Wright, Abraham Kromah, and Chris Rwabukamba have all committed to head coach Ted Roof and the Blue Devils.

Kromah, who has long been considered a Duke lean, finally got it done this weekend. The 6-foot-1, 205 pounder chose Duke over interest from Boston College, Maryland, and others. He has been clocked with a 4.6 forty.

Lind, talented two-way lineman who was often playing in the shadows of linemates Sam Young and Daniel Wenger. He's an aggressive player with excellent feet and athleticism. He hasn't been playing football long and is very coachable. His best days are clearly ahead of him. He missed 5 games as a senior because of injury but racked up 22 tackles and 2 sacks.

Leon Wright is a 5-foot-10, 175 pound speed back hailing from St. Petersburg, Fla. He runs a 4.5 forty and had offers from Akron and Ball State. He projects as a corner back in college.

Chris Rwabukamba, a Canadian national, is a defensive back with 4.5 speed in the forty who picked Duke over Stanford and others.

In other news, sources confirmed that Vandaral Shackleford, who had been close to committing, has chosen to attend South Carolina instead.
