Daniels Favoring the SEC

East Marion High School defensive standout, Scardino Daniels, is hearing from nearly every school in the South Eastern Conference.

"I am getting letters from Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Illinois, Army, Duke and a bunch of others."

While Daniels has yet to receive his first offer, he has put some thought into where he would like to play in college.

"I really like Tennessee, Auburn and LSU."

Why those three?

"Tennessee has been a top program for a long time. I love how they play and how they look on the field. I love that Orange and White. I have liked watching them since I was a kid"

"Auburn is just a Championship program. I love their style of play."

"LSU is very disciplined. They go out there and get the job done and do whatever they have to do to win the ball game. All three of these teams are disciplined and play to win."

Scardino says he hasn't spoken with a lot of coaches, but that he thinks he will play as a defensive end in college. He is open to other positions. Ole Miss and Ed Orgeron informed the standout that they see him as a linebacker rather than a defensive end.

When asked what makes him a special player Daniels said, "Man, I just go out there and have fun. (laughs) I go get the job done and do my best to win the ball game."

With so much early attention Scardino is expecting to have several choices come signing day. Stay with Scout.com for the latest developments in his recruitment.
