At 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, Samuda will be entering his third year as a starter this fall and is one to keep an eye on.
"I win because of my quickness off the ball," Samuda said. "I get off the ball faster than most guys. Although I went to a combine at UM on Sunday and there was one defensive lineman (Miami Northwestern sophomore Marcus Forston) who was really good and tough to block."
Samuda is getting interest from several college programs but he mentioned three that seem to be showing the most interest right now. "They haven't offered me but I hear a lot from FIU, Mississippi State, and Duke," he said. "Duke sends hand-written letters. It's still early but I like those three right there."
The talented big man plans on attend the Scout.com All-American Combine at FAU on May 13.
