Mississippi OL Has Blue Devil Interest

Taylor Quick, a 6-foot-5, 265 pound OL from the south is getting a lot of Duke mail

Offensive lineman Taylor Quick of Terry High School learned a lot about the recruiting process last year by watching events unfold in the recruitment of former teammate Anthony Dixon. Quick, a Mississippi State fan, was more than happy to see his pal end up in Starkville and will soon be making his own decision. Who are the early suitors?

"I am getting letters from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Illiniois, Michigan, USM, Colorado and Duke," said Taylor.

Quick is waiting for his first offers, but is leaning towards staying in the south.

"If I have any favorites it would be the SEC schools. I really can't see me going out of the SEC, but it just depends on where I get the best offer and situation," explained the 6'5'', 275 pounder.

Taylor was unable to attend any Junior Days due to some extra curricular school activities, but has attended football games at Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss in the past.

When asked about his football skills Taylor said, "I am a good pass blocker. I led our district and team in pancake blocks."
