Ohio Safety Shows Well

Bryant Fox performed at a very high level at the latest Scout.com combine

Bryant Fox, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety from Piqua, Ohio feels that a strong performance at the Scout.com Combine that was held in Louisville on Saturday will help boost his recruiting status.

"I think that I tested really well," Fox began. "I ran a 4.65 forty-yard dash, which I think was the second best in my group. It was a whole lot of fun, but I have a little sunburn."

Things have also been going well for Fox since the beginning of the evaluation period.

"I have been getting a lot of calls and coaches stopping in from the Ivy League schools," Fox said. "Coaches from Air Force, Bowling Green, Akron and Western Kentucky have also stopped in.

"Coach (Jim) Tressel was in on Monday, and he said that I was guaranteed a preferred walk on spot if I wanted it. That made my week."

Fox plans to attend summer camp sessions at Ohio State and Bowling Green this summer.

As a junior, Fox racked up 50 tackles, reeled in five interceptions, and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference
