Duke's non-conference schedule features games versus UNC Greensboro, Davidson, Indiana (ACC/Big Ten Challenge), Georgetown, Holy Cross, 2006 Final Four participant George Mason, Kent State, Gonzaga (Aeropostale Classic), San Jose State, Temple and St. John's.
Duke will again have a full slate of television contests, with 28 regular season games (30 if the Blue Devils advance to the finals of the CBE Classic) scheduled to be aired on either national or regional television. Including the ACC Tournament which will be played in Tampa, Fla., the Blue Devils will appear on national television at least 27 times this season on ABC, CBS, ESPN, espn2, ESPNU and FSN (Fox Sports Net). Fox Sports Net South (FSNS) will broadcast Duke's Nov. 25 game vs. Davidson. The Blue Devils only non-televised game will be a Nov. 16 home contest against UNC Greensboro.
In addition to its non-conference schedule, Duke will face another rigorous ACC slate in 2006-07. Duke has won seven ACC regular season championships in the past 10 years, compiling an impressive 133-27 league record during that span, and seven of the last eight ACC Tournament titles.
