Texas WR Has Duke Among Favorites

One fast rising Texan in the Austin area is Leander, Texas wide receiver Curenski Gilleylen. He has picked up any new offers for a while, but if he keeps having games like he did on Friday that will change.

"I really haven't had any new offers come in recently or anything," Gilleylen said. "Right now Duke, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Purdue and Rice are still the main ones. Iowa and Cal have been showing a lot of interest lately though."

The 5-foot-11, 192-pound Gilleylen attended the Scout.com combine where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds and a 4.13 second shuttle.

"Right now I really don't have a top five or anything like that," Gilleylen said. "I still like Miami a lot, they are still my top school, but after that it is wide open really."

This past Friday Gilleylen caught six passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two rushes for 55 yards in a win over Converse.

"I didn't go to any games this weekend," Gilleylen said. "I don't know that I will go to a lot of games during the season. I do know that I am going to Purdue on October 22 for an official visit."
