Cramer is a leader on the team, moving to the places where he can best help especially along the defensive line.
"I am playing a lot of positions. I've been playing all the positions along the defensive line for our packages and usually the coaches will line me up against their best offensive lineman, but I am doing pretty well. It can be frustrating at times because defensive end is a new posoition, but extra reps in the preseason really helped me understand it."
Cramer, who plays on the offensive line and is being recruited as an offensive guard by North Carolina, believes all other schools want him to play either defensive end or defensive tackle in college.
"I am hearing from Rice, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Duke, and I am getting more interest from Stanford and Wake Forest. Northwestern and Rice are my only two to offer because I tore my hamstring this summer, so I was unable to do evaluation in front of them at camps. I am in the process of putting together for them from the first few games and a full game."
Waiting on a few schools to offer is not keeping Cramer from staying active in taking visits. In fact, Cramer already has one official visit in the books.
"I took an official visit to Rice on September 1st, and I really enjoyed myself. I really like coaches a lot and they are doing a lot to turn the program around. The Staff is top-notch, and I got along real well. The Rec coordinator is my area recruiter, so I spent most of my time with him. I like school and it is at the top of my list with a couple of other schools."
