The other schools looking into the three star lineman include Virginia, Stanford, and East Carolina. All of whom have reported they are close to extending an offer.
"They are trying to figure out where they are and where I am with everything. They have all asked to see more tape of me, before they can make a decision."
Should the Cavaliers, Pirates, and Cardinal not extend offers, it would mean Grosso would be left to choose from the Blue Devils, Bearcats, and Commodores - a prospect that sits just fine with him.
"I like all three schools that have offered, and they stand out the most of the ones I'm hearing from. Until I take some visits I really can't seperate them though."
An official visit to Duke is in the works for the first or second weekend in December. Previously he told TDD the Blue Devils' program appeals to him in a big way:
"I'm pretty high on Duke and what they have to offer down there," said Grosso over the summer. "They are a top flight academic school, and they play in the ACC. The opportunity to play ACC football while getting a degree will set you up for life no matter what happens with football is very appealing to me. Plus, Duke is not too far from home, but it's also not too close."
