Simmie has already claimed his first offer and by the looks of things it probably will not be his only offer.
"Right now Duke is the only offer I have," said Simmie. "Ole Miss, Illinois, Clemson, Southern Miss, Mississippi State and LSU have been recruiting me a good bit too. Ole Miss, Souteastern Louisiana and UAB has been by the school. Duke and Ole Miss have called me. I have been texting a good bit with Mississippi State and Tulane."
The prestigious academic reputation of Duke has the talented wide out's attention.
"Duke is a good school," said Simmie. "With a degree from there you can just about get any job you want to. I know on the athletics side of things they are trying to improve."
Simmie has spent some time on the campus of Mississippi State University.
"I wouldn't mind going to Mississippi State they have real good academics," said Yarborough. "I like the atmosphere up there. I have been to basketball camp there and I always enjoyed myself."
One of Simmie's instate schools and the defending national champs appear to be his top two schools.
"I would really like to go to Ole Miss," said Simmie. "There are a lot of people in this town that support them. Florida is my favorite school because they like to throw it, but if I stayed around here I would like to go to Ole Miss."
