Peach State RB Will Camp With Duke

The wait is over for Lamar Brown. The Jefferson County running picked up his first scholarship offer last week. We caught up with Brown to talk about his latest recruiting news.

"I got a call from Coach Nate Woody, the Defensive Coordinator at Wofford," said Brown. "He said I was one of their top recruits and he wanted me to come up there and see him. He came down to the school one day and seen some film on me. He said they really wanted me." "Coach Woody said the potential is there for me to play offense or defense with them. He said they had an offer for me and they want me to come up there on July 28th." Duke called today and invited Brown to their Camp this coming Saturday. Then next week, he will be attending Clemson's three day Camp along with teammates Chris Crenshaw and A.J. Harmon. The 5-foot-7, 165-pounder will also be camping at Troy the following week. "Right now, those three schools (Clemson, Duke, Troy) are showing me the most interest," Brown said.
