Interest In Florida CB?

Corey Broomfield has been told he has good ball skills. Corey knows how to get his hands on the ball and this talent has drawn the attention of several college recruiters. The talented corner is currently holding three offers.

"I have offers from Mississippi State and Cincinatti. Iowa State talked to me about it, but I don't have the official paper about it," said Corey Broomfield. "I am getting some other interest from Marshall and Duke. Everyone is recruiting me as a corner."

Broomfield has some very lofty team goals for the 2007.

"My goal is for us to win state," said Corey. "We have a 1,000 yard rusher that is coming back. We have another one that rushed for about 500 coming back. My brother plays strong safety and he is coming back. Our quarterback is coming back. Last year was his first year and we made it into the playoffs. Our offensive line is young, but they will be fine. Our D line is going to be solid. We have two division one prospects playing there. We will be straight."

Corey currently has two written Division one offer. The talented ball hawk is excited about both of the schools have made their intentions official.

"I am very interested in Mississippi State," said Broomfield. "I am probably going up there sometime this summer. I like Coach Croom. They have a nice field and they play in the SEC. That is a big plus for them. Coach Reed Stringer is recruiting me for them."

"Coach Mike Elston is recruiting me for Cincinnati," said Corey. "It seems like a nice program. They have a new coaching staff and they won a bowl game last year. They are trying to do some things there. They play in the Big East and they could play in a BCS bowl too."

While Broomfield has a pair of early favorites, he is in no hurry to make an early decision.

"I want to take my visits and then make my decision," said Corey. "I haven't really thought about making a decision yet. I will just have to see what happens."
