"I went to UAB and Georgia Tech's camp. I am finished for now. I am going to try to attend some games this fall that schools invite me to attend. I am going to go to the schools who I have offers from."
Richardson talked about his camp experience with the new UAB coaching staff.
"The UAB camp went good. I learned a lot. It was my first time to go there. I got to see how their atmosphere and coaches were. I got to see what they are really about," he said.
"I liked working out with their coaches. They were enthusiastic, and they were teaching me new things. We got a new coach, and I think it will help him also."
When asked his interest in the in-state school Richardson replied, "I like everything about UAB. The coaches were good. The facilities were great. They had a lot of stuff you can look at and determine if you want to go there."
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect also took a visit to Atlanta to check out the Yellow Jackets.
"I liked Georgia Tech a lot. They have good coaches also. The facilities were great. They had everything organized. The coaches were really nice. I guess I gave them something to look at because they have been in touch with me more than they use to," Richardson said.
"I liked everything about them as well. They have a good academic and football program. The coaches are good. The facilities I saw where nice."
