Duke Still Working For Bama DB

Seandre Richardson picked up four early offers, but the pace of his recruitment slowed down a good bit. With a strong showing in the first few games of his senior season, Sean's phone is ringing off the hook.

"The season is going good," said Richardson. "We're 4-1. I am doing pretty good. I am playing strong safety and wingback."

Linden High School is off to a great start and the Patriots won their last contest 70-14 over Francis Marion. Unlike several other schools, LHS has already racked up some wins in the all important district ledger.

"We have already played some district games," said Sean. "We played Sweet Water, Akron and Sunshine. We have John Essex this week. We are just going to try to go do what we have to do to come out with a win."

Richardson currently holds offers from Duke. Mississippi State, Troy and Vanderbilt. The interested quartert may soon have some fresh competition.

"I get calls from Duke, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Troy, Clemson, Alabama, Sanford and Georgia Tech," said Seandre. "Clemson, Duke and Vanderbilt call me pretty much every week. Mississippi State and Troy call a good bit too. They just call me and give me an update on how they are doing and they ask me about how I am doing."

Sean reports that no school is pushing him to make a decision and that he is satisfied with the current pace of his recruitment.

The talented safety has had the chance to take in one college game, but he would like to take in several more before the season is over.

"I went to the Alabama game against Arkansas," said Seandre Richardson. "I would like to go see a game at Vanderbilt, Clemson and Arkansas some time."
