PA Wideout has a Duke Offer

Harrisburg, Pa., native Julian Harrell has gotten his first two official visits out of the way and picked up another offer recently, however he is still completely open in recruiting and hearing from new schools at the moment. We took some time to walk through his first two visits and find out who his next offers could come from.

Boston College joined Akron, Michigan State, Buffalo, Duke and Miami(OH) recently in offering a scholarship to Bishop McDevitt High School wide receiver Julian Harrell. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound athlete finished his senior season with 50 catches for around 700 yards and five touchdowns and is also being looked at as a defensive back now by two programs.

"I took my official to Akron this past weekend and it was really a lot better then I expected it to be," Harrell said. "The campus, players and coaching staff were all really nice and the thing that stood out to me most is how quickly I was able to build a relationship with the whole coaching staff. Akron is definitely a program I am very interested in going forward."

"I went to Michigan State for their homecoming game against Indiana and it was a really good time," Harrell explained. "The game atmosphere was great and the student section was crazy to begin with, but with it being a special day those guys were even more fired up. I really liked the campus there, the staff was cool and they seem to be sound academically."

"Boston College just offered me a while ago, but I only talk to the coaches a little bit and don't know if I'll have a chance to go visit there," Harrell stated. "Tennessee and Pittsburgh are both showing interest in me right now as a safety as well. Pittsburgh definitely has a nice program and I already have some friends that are former teammates out there like LeSean McCoy, so that would be good."
