While Cutcliffe is certainly putting in the time with his current roster, he's also working hard on bringing in more and more talent. And that's where Scott, who is rated as the top runningback in the state and the No. 28 overall player in the country comes in.
"He's making Duke look more and more attractive. Coach Cutcliffe and his staff are really working hard and have been very impressive with how they've handled it with me. You can't help but listen to what they are saying, and when you add that to how quickly they've improved the program, you can understand why he's such a great coach."
Still, Scott has plans to take some additional visits to some of his other suitors - including West Virginia, Clemson, Rutgers, Florida, and Ohio State. All of which have either offered or have indicated an offer is on the way.
With so much interest, when can you expect Scott to make a collegiate decision?
"I am going to narrow it down this summer. It's going to come down to a number of things. What is the city like. How are the academics - I want to major in education, so that program will be something I look at. For football I am going to look at how I get along with the team and how the coaches and players interact."
Scott is listed at 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds. He has been clocked at 4.4 seconds in the forty yard dash.
