After attending Duke's camp on Saturday, Schroeder had returned to California to discuss the decision making process with his parents. That process moved relatively fast as the 6-foot-3, 185lbs prospect phoned the Blue Devil coaching staff on Sunday morning to make it official.

Schroeder, who maintains a 3.9 grade point average away from the football field, was hearing from Boise State, Duke, Cal, Stanford, UCLA, Purdue, Colorado and Oregon State before the Blue Devils made the offer this weekend.
