Has Young-Wiseman committed?

Throughout the day there have been rumors surrounding Anthony Young-Wiseman's recruiting status. When reached for comment on Tuesday night, the talented athlete had an update.

Sources close to the situation informed TDD that Anthony Young-Wiseman joined Duke's recruiting haul from the class of 2009 while making a visit to campus today. Such a commitment would be in favor of offers from Maryland, Syracuse, and West Virginia among others.

However, Young-Wiseman, says any commitment talk is a bit premature.

"I visited Duke today and I was very impressed with everything I saw. The coaches are very committed and capable of making the kind of changes that need to happen in the program. After visiting there I can really see myself playing for them for the next few years."

Still, the glowing review has not blossomed into a commitment at this time according to the 6-foot-1, 195lbs athlete.

"As of right now I have not committed anywhere. Before this visit I was thinking about doing it after my season, but now I think it'll be done before my senior year so I can enjoy that last ride."

With his senior season kicking off in less than three weeks, Young-Wiseman admits there's not much time and he's seen all he needs to see.

"I'm not going to take any more visits. I think I have enough information to make the right decision."
