On Thursday. It became official.

"It's done," a source confirmed to TDD. "He's committed to Duke."

Young-Wiseman, who projects as a safety for the Blue Devils, picked Duke over offers from Syracuse, Maryland, West Virginia, and others.

When previously interviewed, Young-Wiseman cited the academic opportunities being pitched by the Duke coaching staff as well as the chance to see the field early on.

"Their academics are the best around and they are rebuilding their program under the new coaching staff. Also, with it being in North Carolina the campus is beautiful and it's a great place to live. I can see myself going there and fitting in, which is what it's going to take for me to make a decision."
