Devils Among Favorites For Ga WR

With a trio of college options in hand, Kyle Griswould heads into his senior season expecting even more offers. Griswould is just one of several Shaw High School seniors who expect to have a name plate on the table come signing day.

"I think this may be our best class ever," said Kyle of his fellow senior classmates. "I think all of our seniors are going to sign somewhere."

With such a talented and experienced core group of players, Shaw is poised to do some big things this season.

"We look really good so far," said Kyle of fall practice. "We have a lot of talent back on both sides of the ball. We have nine starters back on offense and six on defense."

Griswould picked up offers from Ball State, Duke and Troy fairly early in the process. Duke and Troy have both made quite an impression on the talented wide out.

With the season opener just over two weeks away, Kyle is not ready to name an overall leader.

"Right now I am still looking at a lot of schools," said Griswould. "I am still looking at some schools that haven't offered me yet. I like Duke, Troy, Louisville, Florida State and I like how Florida spreads the ball around."

Kyle does not feel any pressure to make a decision and for the time being he is content to wait things about and be sure he has considered all of his options.

"I am probably not going to make a decision until after the season, but it might come during the season," said Griswould. "I am really looking at where I would be on the depth chart at these schools. I am looking at the education side of things too. Right now, I just don't know."
