Blue Devils Offer Georgia RB

Mack Brown, running back from MLK high school in Lithonia, Ga., continues to rack up impressive numbers in his junior campaign. The East-Metro Atlanta standout picked up his fourth scholarship offer this week, and he feels more are on the way.

"I talked to Duke last Sunday," Mack Brown said. "They offered me a scholarship. They told me they think that I'm one of the best running backs in the country."

"I've been talking to North Carolina a lot, and Florida a lot. Florida sends me something almost everyday. I think that North Carolina is pretty close to offering me. They sound like they're gonna offer from everything that I've read from them."

Brown reports stats from his last two regular season games.

"I had 302 yards and three touchdowns in our ninth game," he said. "That game was against my old school (Redan). They took me out of the game in the last three minutes of the 3rd quarter. My longest run was 71 yards. My longest touchdown was 55 yards."

"In our last game we played Union Grove. They have a really good defense. In that game I had 216 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. I had three carries for over 50 yards. My longest touchdown run was 63 yards. I also had a kickoff return for 60 yards."

"I have 21 touchdowns on the season. I think I have 10 rushing touchdowns for over 50 yards."

Mack Brown will not visit Florida this week because of his high school season. His next visit is to Ohio State when they face Michigan
